Terms.
These terms are between you and Tony Fisher, trading as QuoteCo, the provider of QuoteCo. By creating a document, signing in or subscribing you agree to them. You confirm you are of legal age and, if you use QuoteCo for an organisation, that you may agree on its behalf.
What QuoteCo is
QuoteCo produces estimates and invoices from figures you enter. The numbers, wording and VAT treatment on a document are yours: you are responsible for checking them before you send anything to a client.
What you get
Free works with no account, saved on the device you are using, printing the Classic sheet. Platinum is £9 a month or £90 a year (two months free) and adds cloud sync across devices, the four extra sheet designs, your logo and accent colour, client notes and CSV export. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use QuoteCo within the plan you have chosen.
Payments, billing and cancelling
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Platinum renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings; your plan stays live until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account returns to Free. Your documents are not deleted when a plan ends. Refunds follow our refund policy (30 days).
Acceptable use
You must not use QuoteCo unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to interfere with its security — including malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, reselling access or working around plan limits. Do not issue documents you are not entitled to issue. Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you give us.
Our intellectual property
We own QuoteCo and everything in it — software, sheet designs, documentation and branding. Your own content stays yours; you grant us only the licence needed to host and process it so the service works.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous twelve months. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Keep your own copy of anything you need for tax records — Settings has an export.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Not advice
QuoteCo is a document generator, not legal or tax advice. Speak to an accountant about VAT registration, rates and record-keeping.
